Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A school district near Lake Stevens, Washington is working with Soliant to contract a full-time school psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates must have a Master's Degree or higher in School Psychology (or a related field) with a pending or active Washington ESA certification in School Psychology. Out of state or traveling contractors are welcome! Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations using culturally responsive and multi-method assessment practices Interpret assessment data and prepare clear, legally defensible reports for eligibility and instructional planning Participate in and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) and eligibility meetings Support and help lead Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) by analyzing data and guiding tiered interventions Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective academic and behavioral strategies Provide short-term individual and group counseling to address social-emotional and behavioral needs Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Monitor student progress and adjust interventions using data-based decision-making Assist in implementing school-wide positive behavior and social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives Participate in crisis prevention, threat assessment, and response teams Conduct risk assessments and support student safety planning when needed Ensure compliance with IDEA, MTSS, Washington State regulations, and special education laws Maintain accurate documentation, evaluation timelines, and confidential student records Support equitable practices by using anti-bias approaches in assessment and service delivery Serve as a consultant to staff on classroom management, learning strategies, and behavioral supports Adapt to working across multiple schools or grade levels within the district as needed Soliant offers competitive, weekly and hourly pay (based on experience). Candidates traveling from out of state will be eligible for tax-free housing and meal stipends as well as travel reimbursement.
