Job Overview Thrive Wellness Clinic | Maple Valley, WA In-Person Position | Immediate Opening Thrive Wellness Clinic is seeking a compassionate, clinically grounded therapist to join our growing private practice in Maple Valley, Washington. This position may be a strong fit for either a fully licensed clinician or an associate-level clinician who is looking for a supportive, values-driven clinical environment with on-site supervision available. This role will primarily serve adolescents , with some work with children, adults, and families . We are especially interested in clinicians who have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, emotional dysregulation, behavioral health disorders, oppositional/defiant behaviors, self-harm, family conflict, school-related concerns, and substance use concerns. This position is available immediately. Position Options We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates. Associate-level clinicians must be hired as W2 employees. Fully licensed clinicians may be considered for either W2 employment or contractor status. The ideal schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM-8:00 PM , in person at our Maple Valley clinic. The role may begin at three days per week and build toward five days per week by fall , depending on clinician availability, client demand, and fit. Compensation W2
Employee:
$38-$48 per hour, depending on license level, experience, and fit. Contractor:
Fully licensed clinicians may be considered for contractor status starting at $85 per clinical hour . About Thrive Wellness Clinic Thrive Wellness Clinic is a private, faith-informed mental health clinic serving the Maple Valley area. Our mission is to glorify God by serving as the hands and feet of Jesus through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health care that fosters healing, restoration, and wholeness. We are guided by biblical values, clinical excellence, ethical integrity, compassionate client-centered care, stewardship, growth, transformation, honor, and generosity. Thrive serves clients from many backgrounds and belief systems. Clinicians are not required to provide faith-based counseling , and faith-based elements are only incorporated when a client specifically requests them and provides informed consent. However, all team members must be able to respectfully work within and support the clinic's Christian statement of faith, values, culture, and mission. Responsibilities The therapist will provide direct, one-on-one outpatient therapy services in a private practice setting.
Responsibilities include:
Providing individual therapy to adolescents, with some children and adults Completing intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning Supporting clients with emotional, behavioral, relational, and mental health concerns Communicating professionally with parents, guardians, and collateral supports when clinically appropriate Maintaining ethical, timely, and clinically appropriate documentation Participating in supervision or consultation as needed Collaborating with the Thrive team to provide excellent, client-centered care Maintaining professional boundaries and practicing within the scope of licensure Qualifications Candidates may hold any appropriate Washington State mental health credential, including but not limited to:
LMHC LMHCA LMFT LMFTA LICSW LSWAIC
Other eligible Washington associate or fully licensed mental health credentials Preferred qualifications include: Experience working with adolescents Experience with behavioral health disorders Comfort working with families and parent involvement when appropriate Ability to manage clinical documentation with professionalism and timeliness Strong ethical judgment and willingness to seek consultation Ability to work in person in Maple Valley Alignment with Thrive's values, mission, and faith-informed framework Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is warm, clinically responsible, teachable, grounded, and able to build strong therapeutic rapport with adolescents and families. They are comfortable working in a private practice setting, value excellence in client care, and are willing to grow within a supportive team culture. This is a strong opportunity for an associate clinician seeking quality supervision and clinical development, or for a fully licensed clinician looking for a stable in-person practice environment with strong referral support.
