Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in Maple Valley, WA, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position. This role involves providing psychological services to support student learning and well-being within a school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling in K-12 school settings Knowledge of educational laws, special education regulations, and intervention strategies Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and organizational skillsLocation:
Maple Valley, Washington Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and social development Develop and recommend appropriate intervention strategies and supports Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to create and monitor IEPs and 504 plans Assist in crisis intervention and support school-wide mental health initiativesBenefits:
