  • Full-Time Mental Health Consultant Heart-Centered Health Sedro-Woolley, WA Full-time | Weekday schedule | No nights, weekends, or on-call Heart-Centered Health is seeking a compassionate, grounded, and highly professional Licensed Psychologist to provide full-time mental health consultation and clinical support within a residential Vocational College setting serving young adults ages 16-24.
This role is ideal for a licensed psychologist who enjoys working with youth and young adults in a structured, team-based environment. The position focuses on mental health assessment, short-term counseling, crisis support, wellness education, staff consultation, documentation, and coordination with student support and health services team. The right clinician will be warm, steady, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and comfortable supporting students with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, social, and adjustment-related needs. Responsibilities Provide mental health assessment, brief counseling, and clinical support to students. Support students experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma histories, adjustment challenges, emotional dysregulation, behavioral concerns, or other mental health needs. Participate in case consultation and coordinated care planning with the health and wellness team, disability support staff, residential staff, and other student support personnel. Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and appropriate referrals when higher levels of care are needed. Provide mental health education and wellness programming for students and staff as appropriate. Maintain timely, professional, and compliant clinical documentation. Support a positive, respectful, and student-centered care environment. Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary team members while maintaining appropriate clinical boundaries and confidentiality. Required Qualifications Current, unrestricted license as a Psychologist in Washington State.
MUST BE A WA STATE
Licensed Psychologist Experience working with adolescents, young adults, or transitional-age youth. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a structured program setting. Comfortable providing brief intervention, consultation, documentation, and team-based care. Trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and student-centered approach. Ability to pass required background screening and onboarding requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience in residential, school-based, community mental health, vocational training, college health, or youth development settings. Experience supporting students with trauma histories, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, behavioral concerns, or social/emotional barriers. Familiarity with interdisciplinary health and wellness teams. Schedule Full-time weekday schedule. No nights, weekends, or on-call. Schedule will be coordinated based on program needs. Compensation $105,000
