Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students across K-12 in a supportive, diverse educational environment. A part-time contract position is available for a dedicated and compassionate professional who specializes in school psychology. This opportunity is based onsite, working with a mixed caseload during the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist licensure in Washington (WA PSYCH license) Current ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate; verification required upon submission Previous experience working as a psychologist in a school setting strongly preferred Comfort with a mixed K-12 caseload and an ability to support students from varied backgrounds Willingness to complete a Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) adjudication process (may extend the start by approximately one week) Availability to work onsite three days per week (22 hours weekly) as part of a supportive interdisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psycho-educational assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12 Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized plans and interventions Provide support and consultation for crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral management within the school Contribute to a positive, culturally responsive environment that respects the community's values Accurately document services, maintain confidentiality, and participate in meetings as needed The role's part-time nature allows for flexibility, making it ideal if you're seeking a contract opportunity to create an immediate impact while maintaining work-life balance.
