Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from preschool through high school in two diverse educational settings: a comprehensive high school and an alternative online program. This vital role calls for a dedicated school psychologist ready to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with each day consisting of 7.5 hours. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting students across all 13 disability categories, fostering positive outcomes in both in-person and remote environments. The assignment begins with LID days from August 17-19, followed by the first day of school on August 26 and concludes on June 10.
Qualifications:
Current Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate required Training in or willingness to support students with a wide range of disabilities Comfort working with PK-12+ student populations Both experienced practitioners and new graduates will be considered Strong assessment, counseling, and collaborative consultation skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret psychological assessments for students aged PK-12+ Consult with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective educational strategies Assist in the creation and monitoring of individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines Provide crisis intervention, behavioral support, and counseling services as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across two school programs This contract presents an exciting chance to broaden your experience in varied school environments, supporting students' academic, emotional, and social growth.
