Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, contract role this upcoming Fall semester as a School Psychologist supporting an elementary school setting. This full-time opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through December 18, 2026, providing critical psychological services for K-5 students in a vibrant school community near Renton, WA. You'll provide essential support for student well-being, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with teachers and administration to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment. Your expertise will directly impact the success and development of young learners during a pivotal stage in their education.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Washington State School Psychologist license (or eligibility/willingness to obtain prior to start date) Experience working within K-5 or elementary-aged student populations preferred Strong ability to administer assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings effectively to staff and families Proven skills in providing direct services, crisis intervention, and individualized support Collaborative mindset with experience working on multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments for K-5 students Assist with eligibility determinations and development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success and well-being Participate in team meetings and contribute to positive school-wide initiatives This is your chance to make an immediate, positive impact in the lives of elementary school children while working in an engaging and supportive school environment.
