Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a school psychologist working onsite near Renton, WA. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a vibrant and diverse school community during the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll work 22 hours across three days each week, providing essential services across a mixed caseload.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Washington School Psychologist license and ESA certificate (verification required) Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred Ability to work onsite at the school—remote support is not an option Familiarity with a K-12 environment, managing a broad range of student needs Flexibility to accommodate possible start date adjustments due to BIE adjudication
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students across grades K-12 Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to design interventions that support student learning and social-emotional development Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized support plans Document all services, assessments, and communications thoroughly in compliance with school procedures and state regulations Foster a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds Maintain regular communication with school teams to ensure continuity of services This rewarding part-time role fits those seeking flexibility while continuing to grow as a school psychologist.
