Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting students' academic and emotional growth as a valued school psychologist. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. This contract position offers you the opportunity to provide crucial expertise and care to help every student thrive.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist Proven experience with psychological assessment in an educational setting In-depth knowledge of special education processes and IEP development Ability to effectively interpret psychological data and present findings to multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills Experience or training in crisis intervention and behavioral management is a plus
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' learning, social, and behavioral needs Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational planning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement effective support strategies Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students when needed Facilitate professional development workshops and resources for school staff Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
