A position is available for a School Psychologist to support student mental health and educational development in a dynamic school environment located in Madison, WI. This role involves travel between school sites, providing a variety of psychological services tailored to student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student learning and behavioral challenges. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement intervention strategies. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services. Analyze student data to inform instruction and support positive behavioral outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist. Ability to administer and interpret psychological tests. Strong knowledge of special education laws and ethical guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness and flexibility to travel between school locations.
Location:
Madison, Wisconsin, with required travel within the school district or assigned areas.
