Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing key psychological support and expertise in an engaging educational environment. This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with a dedicated team, supporting learners' emotional, social, and academic success through effective assessment and intervention. Ideal candidates bring a strong background in school psychology, a commitment to fostering student growth, and excellent communication skills. You'll utilize your training and compassion to conduct assessments, participate in team meetings, and serve as a resource for educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or appropriate licensure Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or related field Previous experience in a school setting preferred Solid understanding of assessment tools, IEPs, and special education procedures Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset Ability to adapt services to diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to assist with educational planning Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop effective interventions Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support for students and staff Maintain thorough and confidential documentation Contribute to problem-solving teams to promote students' academic and social-emotional success Embrace the flexibility of contract work while making a real impact on young lives.
