Job Description
The ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Team Clinician is responsible for providing high quality care in the community/outpatient settings. The ACT Team Clinician is expected to function well as a member of the multidisciplinary Clinical Team. The ACT Team Clinician is responsible for utilizing professional skills in assessment, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and the documentation of services. The ACT Team Clinician is primarily responsible for the development, organization, scheduling and provision of individual, family, marital, and group therapies to ACT team consumers. All services provided are to promote client independence and empower clients to manage their symptoms to insure an acceptable level of daily functioning. Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or counseling from an accredited college or university. Two years of clinical experience in the behavioral health field is required, with vocational rehabilitation and/or substance abuse experience preferred. Required documentation must be current and in compliance with Medicaid and licensure standards. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Twenty-four hour accountability and responsibility for clinical services is required as needed to ensure the highest quality of consumer care and safety at all times.
