Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Put your expertise to use in a dynamic school environment providing psychological services to students for the duration of this contract opportunity near Morgantown, WV. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid and current state licensure or eligibility for school psychologist certification Experience with psychological assessments, behavior intervention planning, and counseling within educational settings Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and wellbeing Strong communication and report-writing skills Familiarity with IEP processes and regulations is preferred Experience supporting diverse student populations is a plusKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students' strengths and needs Develop and implement individualized intervention and behavior management plans Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and review Offer individual and group counseling sessions to support emotional, behavioral, and social growth Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding learning, behavior, and mental health concerns Assist with crisis intervention and preventive initiatives as needed throughout the school year Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations You'll thrive in a collaborative setting with support from fellow professionals while making a tangible difference each day.
