Schedule:
Full-time, 4 x 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday (days) Weekends only in rare emergency scenarios On-call solely for urgent radiation needs (very uncommon, typically before/after shifts) Occasional holiday coverage if clinic is open; no floating requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy by following and verifying providers' orders Utilize independent judgment while adhering to established methodologies, policies, and procedures Educate patients and their families regarding planned procedures or treatments Operate and care for treatment and simulation equipment according to department standards Demonstrate professionalism, foster teamwork, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Radiation Oncology ARRT certification with radiation therapy registry
