Radiation Oncology (Outpatient) opening in AR Located in Pine Bluff, 44m to Little Rock Full Time Position An Outpatient Radiation Oncology professional works as part of a cancer care team providing radiation therapy treatments to patients without requiring hospital admission. Responsibilities typically include preparing and positioning patients for radiation therapy, operating radiation equipment (such as linear accelerators), verifying treatment plans, monitoring patients during treatment, and documenting procedures. The role also involves educating patients about the treatment process, ensuring safety protocols are followed to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure, and collaborating with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to deliver accurate and effective cancer care.
