The Radiation Oncology Tech is responsible for operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment to administer treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. This position involves working closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Set up and calibrate radiation therapy equipment for patient treatments Position patients accurately for radiation therapy sessions Monitor patients during treatments to ensure proper dosage and positioning Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions and patient progress Educate patients about treatment procedures and possible side effects Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the development of treatment plans Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff Stay current with advances in radiation therapy technology and techniques

Qualifications and Skills:
