Schedule/Hours:
Day shifts: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Required Qualifications:
Current BLS certification Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification Current CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical environment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments with precision and care according to physician-developed plans Operate, maintain, and monitor complex radiation therapy equipment; coordinate repairs as needed Educate and support patients and their families by explaining procedures and addressing concerns Mentor students and new therapists, fostering a constructive and collaborative teaching environment Maintain accurate and timely patient records in electronic health systems Uphold stringent safety standards, including regular equipment calibration and adherence to ALARA principles Oversee inventory, ensuring necessary supplies are stocked and equipment is clean and well-maintained
