  • $3,080/week (40 hrs/week) Job Summary Administer prescribed ionizing radiation treatments to outpatient oncology patients under physician direction.
Ensure accurate treatment delivery, patient safety, and proper documentation throughout the radiation therapy process. Requirements Minimum 1 year Radiation Therapy experience required Experience in outpatient or hospital-based radiation oncology preferred Ability to deliver accurate, safe radiation treatment per physician prescription Strong patient care and communication skills in oncology setting Credentials ARRT (RT)
  • Radiation Therapy certification
  • Required Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (RTT/TRT)
  • Required BLS (CPR)
  • Preferred Fluoroscopy Permit (CA)
  • Preferred (if applicable) Key Responsibilities Deliver daily prescribed radiation dose to patients Verify prescriptions, imaging charts, and patient identity Position patients using immobilization devices and treatment plans Monitor patients for reactions and complications Maintain accurate treatment records and chart documentation Support patient education and treatment explanations Ensure radiation safety compliance for patients and staff Facility Overview Adventist Health Glendale is a 515-bed hospital system serving the San Fernando Valley region, offering comprehensive oncology, cardiology, urgent care, and specialty services.
