Schedule:
Day shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Qualifications:
Current BLS certification AART certification CRT certification Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver routine and specialized radiation treatments as outlined by physician plans Independently execute safe and accurate procedures, relying on clinical judgment and expertise Gain trust and cooperation from patients and their support networks through thorough assessment and clear communication Strictly comply with all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety Operate, maintain, and calibrate complex radiation therapy equipment, ensuring all documentation is precise and up-to-date Prepare for and assist physicians in a variety of therapy and simulation procedures Educate and reassure patients about each procedure Provide orientation and mentorship to students and new staff to support a collaborative, educational workplace Handle general clerical duties such as patient scheduling, record management, supply inventory, and EHR updates Commitment to
