Key Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required Current state licensure or eligibility Proficiency in operating linear accelerators and related equipment Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient care Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
Schedule/Hours:
Locum tenens position; specific hours and shifts to be discussed during interview process
Role Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients with care and accuracy Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare team members to develop individualized treatment plans Ensure the safety and well-being of patients throughout therapy sessions Monitor patient progress and document clinical records in compliance with regulations Manage equipment operation and maintenance, reporting malfunctions promptly Provide education to patients and their families regarding procedures and aftercare
