This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology to improve patient outcomes. As a Radiation Therapist, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety. Your dedication will directly impact patients' lives, providing hope and healing through advanced radiation therapy techniques. Responsibilities Administer SRT Radiation treatments accurately according to prescribed protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each session Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop tailored treatment plans based on detailed anatomy and physiology knowledge Monitor patients during therapy sessions, observing for adverse reactions or complications, especially in critical care or acute care settings Maintain comprehensive medical terminology records and document all procedures meticulously in accordance with regulatory standards Conduct routine quality assurance checks on radiation equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Educate patients about their treatment process, addressing questions related to mammography procedures or other specialized imaging techniques Experience Critical care experience is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to manage acute patient needs effectively In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to oncology and radiology practices Familiarity with radiation therapy protocols, including dose calculations and treatment delivery systems Prior exposure to medical imaging technologies and procedures used in oncology settings Ability to work efficiently within fast-paced environments while maintaining meticulous attention to detail Certification or licensure as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program is required Join us in making a meaningful difference through innovative cancer care.
