We strive to be the premier provider for cancer patients in our community. Full-time (Monday-Friday) Salary/hourly rate DOE New Radiation treatment center is looking for a Staff Radiation Therapist. Applicant must possess a commitment to personal accountability, integrity and high standards of professionalism.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program Current ARRT certification Responsibilities include: Accurately deliver and record a planned course of radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist. Maintain daily records and document technical details of treatment administered in Mosaiq. Submit correct billing information. Observe the clinical progress of patients undergoing radiation therapy, recognizing the first signs of any complication and reporting to Physician(s) for review. Detect accelerator malfunctions and report to proper authority. Must know the safe limits of operation. Must utilize proper marking techniques on patients' skin or immobilization device, to delineate the treatment isocenter, field borders and/or CT marks as shift reference points.
