Radiation Therapist

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a passionate and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our elite medical team in Palo Alto, CA (https://www.google.com/search?q=palo+alto,+ca&kgmid=/m/0f04c&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwidzpXT9f-TAxUQKEQIHaw2ITwQ3egRegYIAQgCEAI) In this role, you will deliver high-quality radiation therapy prescribed by Radiologists and Oncologists according to established practices and standards.

• Key Responsibilities

Deliver Expert Care:

• Perform patient treatments and simulations based on written prescriptions and treatment plans. +

• Support Patients:

• Explain procedures clearly, respond to concerns, and monitor for treatment reactions. +

• Ensure Quality & Accuracy:

• Maintain complete treatment records and apply a strong understanding of radiation oncology billing and coding. +

• Maintain Safety:

• Perform daily equipment warm-ups, check safety controls, and maintain an orderly treatment room. +

• Lead & Mentor:

• Direct, coach, and review the work of support staff while driving department quality initiatives.
• Compensation
• The anticipated wage for this position is between $91.00 & $96.00 . Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
• Qualifications

Licenses:

• Active BLS, ARRT-RTT, and CRT-T are strictly required. +

• Experience:

• Proficiency with Aria and Varian True Beam is needed. Previous AHC experience is desired. +

• Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of modern radiation therapy systems, human anatomy, patient positioning, and strict safety protocols. +

• Skills:

• Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships.
