1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with a CA license, ARRT, and 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a hospital-based Radiation Therapy department in Palo Alto, CA. Details Hospital-based Radiation Therapy department Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM No weekends, call, or floating required Requirements Active California Radiation Therapist license required if applicable Current ARRT and CRT certifications required Current BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience required Ability to competently perform routine and specialized radiation treatments independently and with sound clinical judgment Additional Information Delivers routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with physician-developed treatment plans Responsible for competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and the care team Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
