1 Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with CA license, ARRT-T certification, and required experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT for a hospital-based Radiation Oncology position in Santa Cruz, CA. Details Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department setting Day shift schedule working 5x8-hour shifts; shift start times range from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM — flexibility required 13-week contract Requirements Active California Radiation Therapist license required if applicable Current ARRT-T and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience required Hands-on experience with Elekta linear accelerator, Mosaiq oncology information system, and AlignRT surface-guided radiation therapy system required 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration Additional Information Performs routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with physician-developed treatment plans Works independently with sound clinical judgment to execute safe, precise, and timely treatment delivery Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and the care team Ensures adherence to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures related to patient privacy and safety May perform specific specialized procedures and assist with orienting other department staff Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Only 1 holiday off will be approved during the contract
