Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Advance your expertise in a dynamic acute care environment by providing essential radiation therapy services to adult and geriatric patients. This role is based in a well-equipped, two-room radiation oncology department, supporting an average daily caseload of 20 patients per machine. The contract begins 07/13/2026.
Schedule:
Day shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 (5x8-hour shifts) No block schedules Rotating weekend call required, 08:00-16:00 Pre-approved time off: Up to 2 requests; maximum of 7 days
RTO Key Qualifications:
Minimum one year of experience as a radiation therapist; first-time travelers are welcome ARRT (T) certification required State license required; pending California state license accepted (CA license preferred) Proficient in beam modification/positioning, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and dosimetry Experience with adult outpatient and acute care settings
Required Skills & Competencies:
Internal treatment (SRS, SBRT, Tomo therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, respiratory gating) Electron field and beam data acquisition Treatment of a range of diagnoses, including Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, pancreatic and testicular cancer, benign brain tumors, and keloids
Technology:
Familiarity with Epic charting (preferred), Elekta Infinity and Varian 21 ex/ix treatment units, Toshiba CT Simulator, and MOSAIQ software
Role Responsibilities:
