2 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT (T) certification for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Colorado, working 4x10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday. Details Acute care hospital setting within a dedicated Radiation Therapy department Treatments include external beam (EBRT), internal radiation therapy (IRT), Proton Therapy, Brachytherapy, 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SRT, and VMAT Average of 34 patients per day Equipment includes TrueBeam LINAC, Vision RT, and CT EMR system is Epic; Aria software also used 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday No weekend or holiday requirements No on-call requirements Requirements Active Colorado state license or applicable compact licensure required — pending licenses will not be accepted; license required if applicable Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT (T) certifications required — pending certifications will not be accepted Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience required Driver's license required for consideration 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Candidates must permanently reside at least 60 miles from the facility, as verified by driver's license Additional Information A supervisor is present on each shift Orientation schedule is TBD; clinicians are expected to be in-state for the week of orientation even if initial modules are remote Scrubs in any professional solid color are acceptable Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates previously placed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered Travelers working in Colorado are subject to a Float Radius Policy and are expected to float within their assigned zone; securing appropriate housing to meet this requirement is the traveler's responsibility
