Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled professional to deliver quality patient care in a dynamic radiation therapy setting. This position offers a contract opportunity for 13 weeks, where your expertise in administering targeted radiation treatment will play a vital role in supporting patient outcomes.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Day shifts, five 8-hour shifts per week
Qualifications:
Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current and unrestricted Colorado license for Radiation Therapy Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical setting Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and healthcare staff for holistic care
Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician directives Accurately position patients and operate linear accelerators and related equipment Monitor patient responses and adjust procedures to ensure safety and comfort Document treatments, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and address questions compassionately Participate in regular equipment checks, quality assurance, and safety protocols This assignment offers a structured weekday schedule ideal for those who value work-life balance and consistent hours.
