1 Description American Traveler seeks a licensed Radiation Therapist with 1.5+ years of experience and ARRT RT(T) certification for a hospital-based Radiation Oncology position in Connecticut. Details Primary work site is a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department, with possible infrequent coverage at a secondary hospital location Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Performs linear accelerator procedures with on-board imaging, simulation, and immobilization techniques Uses Varian linear accelerator equipment Varian Aria EMR experience preferred AlignRT surface motion technology experience preferred Requirements ARRT RT(T) certification required Active Connecticut State Radiographer license required; license required if applicable Minimum of 1.5 years of Radiation Therapy experience required; 2+ years preferred AHA BLS certification required Experience with Varian equipment and Varian Aria preferred Experience with AlignRT surface motion technology preferred Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the current discipline are required for consideration Additional Information Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate Candidates who have previously worked at a Northwell or Nuvance Health location may be subject to an eligibility review process prior to placement Online training modules must be completed prior to assignment start Holiday coverage expectations should be discussed with your recruiter
