1 Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT registration and 2+ years of experience for a hospital Radiation Therapy department on a day shift schedule. Details Hospital-based Radiation Therapy department Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM 13-week contract Requirements Active ARRT registration required Current BLS/CPR certification required Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required License required if applicable SSN and DOB required for consideration 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Prepare and apply ionizing radiation in accordance with Radiation Oncologist prescriptions and instructions Operate all Radiation Oncology equipment including CT simulator, linear accelerator, QA dosimeters, diode system, and related computer equipment Deliver prescribed radiation therapy courses according to departmental protocols and established standards Experience with Elekta equipment is a plus Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
