Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy Valid and active licensure as required by the state of Florida Previous experience in radiation therapy, ideally in a clinical or hospital setting Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach High attention to detail, organizational abilities, and technical proficiency with radiation therapy equipment

Schedule:

Full-time, permanent role Monday through Friday schedule; no weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy under the supervision of oncologists Review treatment plans, verify machine settings, and perform quality assurance checks before each session Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, side effects, and post-therapy care Maintain precise documentation and patient records in accordance with facility standards Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and the broader oncology team Adhere to all safety procedures and infection control protocols, providing support and comfort to patients throughout their treatment journey
