Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into an important role as a Radiation Therapist serving the Radiation Oncology department. This 16-week opportunity is for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. Candidates must reside outside of Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties.
Schedule:
Work schedule varies, 5x8 hour shifts per week Weekend coverage occasionally required, though not routinely
Qualifications:
Active Florida State License
RTT ARRT
registration (Radiation Therapy) Current BLS certification (AHA only) All certifications, college diploma or transcripts must be provided and valid for duration of assignment Previous experience delivering precise radiation therapy treatments preferred
Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy according to physician orders and established protocols Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and nurses to develop and implement patient treatment plans Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently Deliver compassionate and accurate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures Document all treatments and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with department policies Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain continuing education as required
Additional Details:
No on-call requirement Supervisor approval needed for any requested time off Assignment length: 16 weeks Candidates must ensure that all licensure and certification are valid for the full length of the contract, with renewals processed prior to start if expiring This contract role offers a chance to contribute your skills in a respected Radiation Oncology department.
