Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Radiation Therapy professionals are invited to apply for a contract opportunity delivering expert care in a leading oncology department. This role supports advanced cancer treatment, working closely with patients on their radiation therapy journey in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Schedule:
Hours vary, typically five 8-hour shifts per week Weekend shifts may be required occasionally
Qualifications:
Valid Florida State License for Radiation Therapy Registered technologist (RTT) with ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association All certifications and your college diploma or transcripts must be up-to-date and included with your submission Candidates must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties for eligibility
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy to patients according to physician instructions and established protocols Prepare and operate radiation therapy equipment with precision, ensuring patient safety and comfort Verify treatment plans and accurately deliver scheduled therapy sessions Maintain thorough documentation of patient care, treatments, and any variances in procedure Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physicists, and other staff for cohesive patient-focused care Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety practices throughout all procedures
Additional Details:
16-week contract assignment No on-call requirements Supervisor approval is needed for any requested time off This position offers a highly competitive direct compensation of $108 per hour.
