Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role as a Radiation Therapist within a leading Radiation Oncology department, contributing directly to patient care in a state-of-the-art cancer institute. Bring your expertise and compassion to a specialized team focused on delivering cutting-edge radiation therapy to those who need it most.
Schedule Details:
Work schedule varies: 5x8-hour shifts On-call not required Occasional weekend shifts may be needed, though not regularly
Key Qualifications:
Active Florida State License and current registration as an
RTT ARRT
Technologist in Radiation Therapy Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) College diploma or transcripts, along with all relevant certifications, must be provided prior to submission At least 16 weeks of availability for the assignment Candidates must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist in an oncology setting is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver precise, high-quality radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists Ensure strict adherence to established safety and quality assurance standards for equipment and procedures Educate, support, and comfort patients throughout treatment Accurately document all treatment information and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams Maintain and verify the functionality of radiation therapy equipment
