Radiation Therapist in Miami, FL Soliant - 3.9 Miami, FL Job Details Contract 6 days ago Qualifications BLS Certification Radiology ARRT (T) Certification Bachelor's degree ARRT (R) Certification Full Job Description Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule Details:
Work schedule varies: 5x8-hour shifts On-call not required Occasional weekend shifts may be needed, though not regularly
Key Qualifications:
Active Florida State License and current registration as an
RTT ARRT
Technologist in Radiation Therapy Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) College diploma or transcripts, along with all relevant certifications, must be provided prior to submission At least 16 weeks of availability for the assignment Candidates must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist in an oncology setting is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver precise, high-quality radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists Ensure strict adherence to established safety and quality assurance standards for equipment and procedures Educate, support, and comfort patients throughout treatment Accurately document all treatment information and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams Maintain and verify the functionality of radiation therapy equipment
