Qualifications:
Current certification and registry as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) Proven experience as a radiation therapist in a clinical setting Proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment and related technology Deep understanding of safety protocols and best practices in radiation oncology Outstanding communication skills to explain complex procedures compassionately Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards
Responsibilities:
Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the physician Accurately position patients and calibrate equipment prior to each procedure Monitor patient reactions and ensure their well-being throughout each session Maintain meticulous documentation of treatments and patient records Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient care Provide clear communication and reassurance to patients and their families Adhere strictly to all safety and quality guidelines
