We are committed to excellence in treatment and patient outcomes. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic oncology team. In this vital role, you will administer targeted radiation treatments to patients, ensuring precise delivery and optimal care. Your expertise in medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology will support accurate treatment planning and execution, contributing directly to positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities Prepare and position patients accurately for radiation therapy sessions, ensuring comfort and safety. Operate advanced radiation therapy equipment with precision, adhering to prescribed treatment plans. Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and medical physicists to develop effective treatment protocols. Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, adjusting techniques as needed for safety and effectiveness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and any adverse reactions. Conduct routine quality checks on imaging devices such as CT scanners and mammography equipment. Educate patients about procedures, addressing questions to alleviate anxiety and promote cooperation. Requirements Certification or licensure as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program. Experience with CT imaging, critical care procedures, and medical terminology. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques relevant to radiation therapy. Prior experience in acute care or critical care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with mammography procedures and radiation therapy equipment is preferred. Strong understanding of medical imaging technology and anatomy knowledge to ensure precise treatment delivery. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
