Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Permanent A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled and compassionate radiation therapist to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing radiation therapy. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to positively impact patient outcomes while working alongside a dedicated clinical team. You will play a crucial part in cancer treatment plans by operating advanced radiation equipment, ensuring both safety and comfort for each patient.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T certification required) Active state licensure as required Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and radiation physics Excellent interpersonal skills to provide empathetic patient support Prior clinical experience in a radiation oncology setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist Verify prescribed treatments, set up equipment, and accurately position patients Monitor patient responses and communicate with physicians and other care team members Maintain detailed, accurate treatment records and documentation for all sessions Maintain strict adherence to safety guidelines for patients and staff Provide clear, compassionate explanations and support to patients throughout their treatment process
