Join Our Team as a Radiation Therapy Tech - Make an Impact in Cancer Care! Are you a dedicated Radiation Therapy Technologist passionate about providing exceptional patient-centered care? We're seeking a skilled individual to be a vital part of our dynamic oncology team at Northside Radiation Oncology. What You'll Do:
As a Radiation Therapy Tech, you will operate advanced radiation therapy equipment, ensure precise delivery of treatment plans, and support our patients through their healing journey. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and comfort in a leading cancer treatment center.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiation therapy or a similar specialty Valid and active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and treatment procedures Excellent attention to detail and patient communication skills Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with advanced radiation therapy technologies and treatment planning software Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population Previous experience in a cancer center environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy, Radiologic Technology, or a related field Proven track record of delivering high-quality radiation therapy services in a clinical setting
Other Requirements:
Location is within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta; local candidates preferred Availability for a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Willingness to work a 13-week assignment with potential for extension or permanent placement Valid licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements as applicable Competitive pay at $49.85/hour, coupled with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, referral bonuses, paid sick leave, and support from our dedicated team — your success is our priority!
