Job Description

Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A 13-week travel assignment is available for a Radiation Therapist specializing in Radiation Therapy. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty and current AHA BLS certification. The position is located in Canton, GA, at a specialized cancer treatment center.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30
PM Responsibilities:
Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to patients following prescribed protocols. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment while ensuring safety standards. Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and administer patient care. Monitor patient progress and document treatment details accurately. Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and safety measures.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Proficiency in operating radiation therapy technology. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
