Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role delivering specialized care to patients as a Radiation Therapist. Your expertise will support individuals undergoing advanced cancer treatments, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective radiation therapy in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program Current ARRT certification (Radiation Therapy) State licensure as required Minimum of one year experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred Proficiency with modern linear accelerators and oncology information systems Strong communication skills and a compassionate patient-centered approach
Responsibilities:
Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician instructions and protocols Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper calibration and function Monitor patient responses and well-being throughout the treatment process Document treatment records and patient information with a high level of accuracy Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff Maintain a safe environment in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards This contract opportunity offers valuable experience in a supportive and clinically advanced setting.
