Schedule:
Day shifts, Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 7:00pm (shift hours vary weekly) Weekend shifts as needed Participation in on-call rotation
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy ARRT Radiation Therapy certification (ARRT-T) BLS certification (including ARC-BLS or BLS Instructor accepted) Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy preferred Demonstrated competency in radiation treatment/simulation
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver precise, safe radiation therapy in accordance with physician and physicist guidance Conduct patient simulation and set-up without error, including educational support for patients and families Utilize radiation safety principles and universal precautions at all times Document patient care thoroughly in the Electronic Medical Record system Participate in quality control monitoring and complete daily warm-up procedures Mentor and evaluate students as a clinical instructor for RTT and RTR learners Engage in department-wide process improvements and additional assigned duties Enjoy the unique advantages of a travel role, including tax-advantaged stipends, comprehensive travel assistance, premium compensation, and robust benefit options such as medical coverage, 401(k), and job security.
