Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Schedule/Hours:
Schedule may include weekdays and variable shifts, with periodic on-call responsibilities as dictated by patient needs.Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T). Valid, unrestricted state licensure as required. Proven ability to apply ionizing radiation for patient treatment following oncologist prescriptions. Excellent technical skills in operating and maintaining radiation-producing equipment. Strong adherence to radiation safety standards and protocols.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver radiation therapy treatments to a diverse patient population under oncologist direction. Perform and document precise, complex therapeutic procedures. Monitor and prioritize patient safety at all times. Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and answer questions.
