Job Description

Overview Staff Radiation Therapist in Radiation Oncology needed for a travel assignment in Roswell, GA. Start date 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks.
Compensation:
$1,937-$2,086 per week.
Shift:
Days, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week). This role operates in a hospital setting, delivering ionizing radiation under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist.

Setting:
Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department Travel assignment within a hospital environment Responsibilities Apply ionizing radiation to patients according to the Radiation Oncologist's prescription and instructions. Safely operate radiation-producing equipment, applying all radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff. Perform a series of complex and precise technical procedures under standard operating protocols. Prepare and position patients, use immobilization devices as needed, and verify treatment parameters. Conduct routine quality assurance checks and ensure accuracy of treatment delivery. Collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist, physics staff, dosimetrists, and the broader therapy team; document procedures and patient responses accurately. Requirements Ability to operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of radiation safety practices and adherence to ALARA principles. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise treatment prescriptions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the oncology care team. Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to travel for a temporary assignment. Capacity to work in a fast-paced medical setting and maintain patient-centered care.
