Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract This exciting opportunity is perfect for an experienced Radiation Therapist skilled in delivering high-quality radiation therapy. Collaborate within a supportive medical team to provide compassionate care and ensure precise treatment for patients with cancer and related conditions. This is a contract position, and candidates should be able to start within 7-10 days of an employment offer. Local housing options are available for those who need accommodations.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract schedule (specific details will be discussed during the interview process)
Required Qualifications:
Certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) Demonstrated expertise in radiation therapy procedures and patient care Active and unencumbered state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) BLS certification required Prior experience in clinical settings, delivering external beam radiation therapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong attention to safety protocols and patient confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed courses of radiation therapy to patients, ensuring accuracy in treatment delivery Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment with attention to safety standards Assess and monitor patient condition before, during, and after treatments, responding promptly to concerns or complications Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other clinical staff to coordinate care Document patient treatments and progress in compliance with clinical protocols Educate patients and families on procedures, potential side effects, and post-treatment care Uphold facility policies and regulatory requirements in all aspects of service This contract position offers the unique benefit of potential housing accommodations to ease your transition.
