1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with a minimum of 24 months of recent experience and Epic proficiency for a hospital-based Radiation Oncology position in Iowa. Details Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department Treats approximately 80 patients per day Treatment modalities include SRS, SRT, SBRT, VMAT, 3D, Electrons, and HyperArc (no total skin or total body) Equipment includes TrueBeam, Halcyon, and TrueBeam Edge Department staffed by 4 radiation oncologists, 3 physicists, and 5 dosimetrists Uses Epic for electronic medical records Requirements Iowa Radiation Oncology state license required if applicable; unlicensed candidates will be considered, though licensure issuance timelines may vary ARRT certification with 'T - Radiation Therapy' discipline listed required AHA BLS certification required Minimum of 24 months of recent, current Radiation Therapy experience required Epic EMR experience required Driver's license required for consideration ARIA/Eclipse experience highly preferred Experience with TrueBeam, Halcyon, and TrueBeam Edge highly preferred Travel experience highly preferred A supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred Additional Information Black scrubs required Travelers are expected to work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday blackout windows Candidates previously employed by this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
