This contract opportunity offers involvement in a high-volume cancer center, treating 64-68 patients daily across two cutting-edge treatment units. The setting requires drive, adaptability, and the ability to work autonomously while balancing multiple responsibilities.
Key Schedule Information:
Clinic hours align with patient demand, supporting a full-time commitment. Clinic closures for holidays are honored, with those days not counting against your guaranteed hours.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy is required. Valid IEMA Radiation Therapist credential must be held. Demonstrated experience working independently, especially in mid to large hospital or oncology clinic settings. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver precise, compassionate radiation therapy treatments according to physician plans. Operate and monitor two advanced treatment units, adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Manage a substantial patient load efficiently, ensuring each individual receives personalized attention. Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate closely with the oncology care team. Monitor and report patient responses, promptly communicating changes or concerns to supervising clinicians.
