Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in cancer care as a Radiation Therapy professional! This contract opportunity calls for a skilled Radiation Therapist to work alongside a dedicated team using advanced Varian Trilogy linear accelerator technology. Your expertise will provide precise, compassionate care to patients in a collaborative environment with two full-time therapists on the day shift.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No weekends or on-call requirements
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed by the State of Illinois IEMA division as a Radiation Therapist Registered as a Radiation Therapist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T. (R) (ARRT) credentials required Demonstrated experience operating Varian linear accelerators and working with ARIA software Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred Professionalism, strong communication skills, and patient-centered focus Grey scrubs required
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, effective radiation therapy treatments according to physician directives Operate Varian Trilogy linear accelerator and maintain accurate records using ARIA and Epic EMR systems Collaborate closely with a small team of dedicated therapists and clinical staff Provide education, support, and reassurance to patients throughout the treatment process Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
