Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional in radiation therapy to support patient care initiatives at a busy center. This contract role features weekday, daytime hours, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Shift:
7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday No weekends or on-call requirements
Required Qualifications:
Current licensure by the State of Illinois IEMA division as a Radiation Therapist Certification as a registered Radiation Therapist, R.T. (T)(ARRT) Experience working with Varian Trilogy linear accelerators Familiarity with Aria and Epic EMR systems Ability to wear grey scrubs per department policy Strong patient communication and team collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver quality radiation therapy treatments utilizing the Varian Trilogy linear accelerator Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and fellow therapists to ensure optimal treatment outcomes Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments using Aria and Epic electronic medical records Monitor patients' physical and psychological well-being throughout their course of treatment Implement safety standards and protocols as set by clinical leadership and regulatory requirements This role provides an opportunity to work alongside a skilled team of two full-time day-shift therapists, serving patients with state-of-the-art technology.
