Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Advance your career in a dynamic clinic setting, providing essential care for oncology patients as a Radiation Therapist. This role is ideally suited for experienced professionals who excel in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering high-quality care. You will be joining a cancer center team equipped with two treatment units, serving 64-68 patients daily.
Schedule/Hours:
Clinic setting with guaranteed hours (holiday closures not counted toward minimum hours).
Qualifications:
Active Radiation certification from both ARRT and IEMA. Prior experience in a mid-to-large hospital or clinic setting, preferably in radiation oncology. Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Demonstrated skill in delivering compassionate patient-centered care within a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
Administer therapeutic radiation treatments to oncology patients in accordance with prescribed protocols and safety standards. Operate and manage two advanced radiation treatment units, ensuring accurate dose delivery and equipment integrity. Evaluate and record each patient's response to treatment, promptly communicating concerns to the care team. Maintain precise documentation of all procedures, patient responses, and equipment maintenance. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, including oncologists and nurses, to provide seamless patient care. Uphold a safe clinic environment by adhering to established clinical policies and radiation safety regulations.
